Things that Caught my Eye

This is a Barn Swallow nest. The same pair builds their nest each year in the same exact spot. Kind of neat.

The New Edition

Day-Star is the sweetest, most gentlest, friendliest, cutest,  littlest lamb. We have only had him for about six hours, but he is a definite favourite out of all our animals now.
The lamb was supposed to be much younger, but they couldn't catch the little guy, so we got Day-Star instead.
I'll post some more pictures as he grows.

Nature

Just playing around with macro filters.

Come forth into the light of things, let nature be your teacher.
-William Wordsworth
I really like these bleeding heart shots - they almost look like they were water coloured in a way.
Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature.

I love to think of nature as an unlimited broadcasting station, through which God speaks to us every hour, if we will only tune in.

By the way, be sure to check this out when you have a moment. It is pretty fascinating. http://skysurvey.org/

Randomness (For lack of a better title)

Yesterday was a wonderful 70 degree day. One of the warmest days of the year, I believe.  The picture below says it's 69, but I am certain it read 70 just a second after taking this shot.  Then we have some bleeding heart and cherry blossoms.  Next, a robin's nest. Sure can't wait for those eggs to hatch! Finally we have a pile of helicopter pictures. They were  doing some work on the telephone poles. It was interesting to watch, that's for sure. That pretty much wraps it up in the day of picture taking.
Enjoy.

Happy Saturday.

Just One More Post

Tasha! Is my wonderful cousin. I saw her the other day for the first time in ages it seemed. Thanks for the fun day.

An Old Shack

I absolutely love photography to the moon and back 10 trillion times. it is just amazing. It's just yourself, the camera, the subject and the light. You can position and create the photograph how you want it to look via the lens. It's just, words can't describe it when you get the perfect shot!

Happy Sunday!
