Casidy with her cows, haha... They follow her and I think they were even going to eat her, notice that ones tongue? :) Long story short about these two cows... My grandmother was weed-eating near the fence where they are at, and all of a sudden her weed-eater shut off. She went and checked the chord, and THE DARN COWS BIT IT IN HALF!!! Can you believe that? Those things will get into anything, even the electrical chord???!!! Anyways, I was shocked when she told this to me, it was so hilarious! I think they must of got a good shock in the mouth. heheNot one word could possibly ever describe the beauty of our earth. Beauty appears in the simplest of things. I like to capture the moment forever and share it with other people. From dewy grass, to a butterfly, to mountains, to people, to even the smallest of insects... I hope you enjoy my journey through the the lens. Welcome to my blog! This blog is dedicated to Lee Mann, my true inspiration to my nature photography.

Swallow Ville! We have swallows EVERYWHERE, and they let you get RIGHT up to them! For a photographer what could be better? Here are just a few of the shots I got. What do you think of them?
Nesting Swallows

This afternoon I took a walk around our property with the camera. :P And at each nesting box had a swallow nesting in it~ Each swallow was peeking out through the hole at me, it was so neat and funny. So here are the shots from that!
Pics From Yesterday
This was an OLD car we found along the way - made for an interesting pic.

Yesterday was my Dads birthday. After our classes got over, he scooped us up and we went to the Skagit River for an afternoon of fun. We hiked threw this little trail to get down to the river(supposedly) and came out in nowhere land, took pictures of each other, skipped rocks across the water, and just had fun.

Family Picture Time!

So I must admit, I didn't take all of these pictures. It was a whole family and neighbor event! Thanks to our wonderful neighbour who came just at the RIGHT moment to take our family shots. Haha, I'd set up the timer and RUN (10 second timer) I'd trip and fall a few times, lots of fun memories though... I hope you enjoy the pictures.

The Bleeding Heart

I just love this time of year - all the migratory birds are coming back and beginning to nest, the frogs are all croaking, the weather is brightening up, and all the beautiful flowers are in full bloom!

This was SO good, I just had to add it!
Words To Live By
It's not how much you accomplish in life
that really counts,
but how much you give to other.
It's not how high you build your dreams
that makes a difference,
but how high your faith can climb.
It's not how many goals you reach,
but how many lives you touch.
It's not who you know that matters,
but who you are inside.
Believe in the impossible,
hold tight to the incredible,
and live each day to its fullest potential.
You can make a difference
in your world.

A Poem to Brighten Your Day!
We move along asunder;
Our paths grow wider as the seasons creep
Along the years; we marvel and we wonder
Why life is life, and then we fall asleep-
Not understood.
Not understood, we gather false impressions,
And hug them closer as the years go by;
Till virtues often seem to us transgressions;
And thus men rise and fall, and live and die -
Not understood.
Not understood! Poor souls with stunted vision
Oft measure giants with their narrow gauge;
The poisoned shafts of falsehood and derision
Are oft impelled 'gainst those who mould the age-
Not understood.
Not understanding. The secret springs of action
Which lie beneath the surface and the show,
Are disregarded; with self-satisfaction
We judge our neighbours, and they often go -
Not understood.
Not understood! How trifles often change us!
The thoughtless sentence and the fancied slight
Destroy long years of friendship, and estrange us,
And on our souls there falls a freezing blight-
Not understood.
Not understood! How many breasts are aching
For lack of sympathy! Ah! day by day
How many cheerless, lonely hearts are breaking!
How many noble spirits pass away-
Not understood.
O God! that men would see a little clearer,
Or judge less harshly where they cannot see;
O God! that men would draw a little nearer
To one another, -- they'd be nearer Thee,
And understood.
