Not one word could possibly ever describe the beauty of our earth. Beauty appears in the simplest of things. I like to capture the moment forever and share it with other people. From dewy grass, to a butterfly, to mountains, to people, to even the smallest of insects... I hope you enjoy my journey through the the lens. Welcome to my blog! This blog is dedicated to Lee Mann, my true inspiration to my nature photography.

Just For The Fun Of It!
Of course the greenhouse is rather warm, so the cat liked it there in the hanging basket.
I just thought this one was cute.

Oh the joys one can have with your animals!

The Snow Level
So, as you can see the snow level really dropped down over night. This morning we even had a bit of snow, and it's APRIL!
Dark - Eyed Junco

This little fellow was eating some sunflower seed on our front porch. He let me walk within 5 feet to take his picture - I do think he smiled quite nicely, don't you? :P

Tree Swallow
OOOOOOH! I just love this shot! I was within 5 feet of this swallow! He was squawking at the other bird near him.
Evening Grosbeaks

This is about my 7th attempt photographing these birds. I don't think they will be around much longer though... What do you think of them? My favorite is the top one.

All Things Beautiful
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.
Each little flower that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
he made their glowing colors,
He made their tiny wings.
The purple headed mountains,
The river running by,
The sunset, and the morning,
That brighten up the sky;
The cold wind in the winter,
That pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
He made them every one.
The tall trees in the greenwood,
The meadows where we play,
The rushes by the water,
We gather every day;
He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell
How great God Almighty,
Who has made all things well.

Sheep & Lambs

I can't really think of anything to say about these pictures. They are just so self-explanatory.Nothing is more adorable then a little baby lamb, or anything little for that matter - they are just so precious.
Evening Grosbeaks

The Evening Grosbeaks are back. They seem to only stick around here for a couple of weeks. So, this year I decided I'm going to photograph them every single day until they are gone and see what I can get. Although today will be different because we are having a WINDY STORM right now... I'll post more if I can get any good ones!

Miss. Jaiden

So, our cousins from down south came up to spend spring break with us... Here are some pictures of Jaiden, who is 6 and soon to be 7. She wants me to tell you that SHE wanted some of the pictures of her in black and white, so there you go.

A Quote
"To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best day and night to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop fighting." - e.e cummings
