So, as you can see the snow level really dropped down over night. This morning we even had a bit of snow, and it's APRIL!

Dark - Eyed Junco

This little fellow was eating some sunflower seed on our front porch. He let me walk within 5 feet to take his picture - I do think he smiled quite nicely, don't you? :P

Tree Swallow

OOOOOOH! I just love this shot! I was within 5 feet of this swallow! He was squawking at the other bird near him.

I can't really think of anything to say about these pictures. They are just so self-explanatory.
Nothing is more adorable then a little baby lamb, or anything little for that matter - they are just so precious.

Evening Grosbeaks

The Evening Grosbeaks are back. They seem to only stick around here for a couple of weeks. So, this year I decided I'm going to photograph them every single day until they are gone and see what I can get. Although today will be different because we are having a WINDY STORM right now... I'll post more if I can get any good ones!

The Dove

                                                    Always There

Consider the dove - A symbol of the Holy Spirit and God, it is a bird of purity and wholesomeness.  Remember how Noah opened the door from the ark and sent out a dove in search of land? The dove returned the first time with no sign of dry land, although the next time he sent forth the dove it returned with an olive leaf, so Noah knew the waters were no more.  God was with Noah. If God wasn’t, the dove wouldn’t have returned to the ark.  Today the dove symbolizes that the Love of the Father is always with us. God is constantly watching over us at all times of our life. When you are in time of need, trouble, misery, perhaps perplexed, or even frightened all you have to do is pray- you will draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you.  So the next time you see a dove, remember that God will ALWAYS be with you every step of your way!
