Last night a few of our friends came over and together they all made gingerbread houses and decorated cookies. So, here are some pictures I snapped while they were occupied with the process. They are such cute and "good" kids, so I couldn't help but taking a few hundred pics....

In the Eyes of a Photographer

When you're a photographer you see things from a whole new perspective. One might observe things in greater detail...... The world is totally different in the eyes of a photographer. Objects that are ugly look somewhat beautiful, thus we photograph them as it makes an interesting composition. From photography I have learned to respect, love, admire and appreciate this beautiful world that we all live in.

This morning when I awoke I looked out my window and noticed that we had gotten a heavy frost, darn wished it was snow. First thing that came to mind was (I'm going to go photograph all the leaves with frost on them...) After walking around in the front yard photographing some leaves (in the 31 degree temperature) I uploaded them and here is what I got. What do you think?
